Adjusting to two

Honestly, two is harder than I expected. Adelaine is much fussier than Hadley ever was. I feel even more like a mother as the time for myself has dwindled away. I miss my husband! Hopefully, as we get Lainey more on a schedule we will get to see each other at night again. That is our time, since we are both night owls, we get Hads into bed at 7 and have the rest of the time to ourselves. We function better when we can see each other more. I guess it's an adjustment with every new baby that comes along. Hadley is getting better at not smothering her little sister. She has become a pro at giving her the binkie whenever she cries. When the baby cries she lets me know every time with "Mom that baby is crying." She really is a lot more lovey to her than I ever expected. It is neat how it is already born in little girls to nurture.

Cute little sassy look

This is what happened to Lainey when I turned my head!

Here are our two baby girls at the same age. First one is Hadley

She looks like she's changing every day, she's so beautiful! Love the stickers, I've seen this often, Hads is just trying to dress her up! Are you sure the first is hadley. It's like comparing Sophie and Abby, so alike!
Keep posting love to see the pics!

Megs,
Wow Hadley and Lainey look a lot alike as babies. I love the pictures, especially the sticker one. I bet this is a big adjustment... hopefully Lainey will get on a better schedule as she gets older so you and Tony get more time. That's a good thing that you miss him :). Love you guys

Your babies are beautiful. Two was a big adjustment for me too. You will get the hang of it, though Jared is 15 months and Elizabeth still smothers him! (PS this is Miriam (Washburn) Kettle - hope you don't mind me barging in on your blog.)
