Ahh... men! I am so glad God made men and women so different. The great thing about women is we can multitask, you know, feed the kids while doing the dishes and getting an appointment. Things we don't even realize we are doing because it's in our nature. Men are simple in the best way possible. They make you slow down and live in that moment. Case in point - I was struggling to fall asleep the other night, my mind was racing, so many things I didn't get done that day. Simple things I couldn't get done because the kids have a way of demanding everything from you. I was feeling bad. You know those nights you feel you're not fulfilling your role of mother, wife, you can't give anymore. You start feeling sorry for yourself and you're a martyr blah, blah, blah. Hey, it was my pity party. So just when I was on the verge of tears, almost unconsciously my husband reaches over and starts tickling my back. Bam! I was in the moment forgetting about my failures and enjoying my tickle and realizing how much I need my man. My husbands' mind was at peace just drifting off to sleep while mine was on a crazy rampage of my emotions. Thank goodness men are who they are and can keep us whole if we let them.

AMEN! It is so great we have our husbands to keep us grounded :)
I loved this post. Just never forget how much you need each other and how grateful you should be to be together and working things out together.
Amen to all these comments and it only gets better I adore my husband we hate to be apart. The pictures of lainey and Hadley are so cute they brought a smile to my face today. How is the German duck doing? I can't help but laugh when I think of it and Tony was so funny when he told us. We love you all so much love Suzanne
