A good night's rest, how I've missed you. They say when you have children, you never sleep the same again. Now I know what that means. We had a good year and a half with Hadley going to bed from 7 to 7 without a peep. Now that she is in her toddler bed, she gets out every night at 2 or 3 and wants to sleep with us. I take her back to her room and reassure her I'm still there, then she is asleep in 15 min. I'm still getting up at least once in the night with Lainey (although she is doing better) and no, I have not let her scream it out. Not ready. I know your body adjusts, but does this part really have to be part of the mothering? Can't I mother during the day and take a break at night?! I realize there is always some phase a child will go through that will wake them in the night. I just wish they would tell me before they fall asleep.

Yes! Sweet pics. They look like little angels. I asked your dad years ago if I could turn in my 'motherhood' badge. He said NO, not even when you die! So get used to the sleepless nights. It will get better but that only means they are affecting your life in another way.

It makes me tired for you :). I love the new pics of the kiddies! Especially the nine month old one of Lainey. It was great to see you again the other day!!!

I hear ya. It seems like by the time you get one kid sleeping, the other has problems, then you get that kid figured out and you have a new baby! Oh, the joys of being a mom, huh?

So tell him THANKYOU!
