Training for the half-marathon in Salt Lake begins. It starts in the cold basement on a boring treadmill and hopefully will eventually lead us outside in March for warmer weather. We always postpone pushing ourselves until there's about six weeks to race, then we panic! I never get in the right amount of miles to train. But, then I never have high expectations for myself in the race. I do this to enjoy running, that is why I will probably never run a marathon. I may never want to run again if I train for one of those.
Tony after a run, just look at that runners high?

Megan! How on earth did you find a passion for running within yourself! I really hate it, and wish I loved it! If I loved it maybe I'd do it more often! Tell me what you think!
priceless pic Tony!
oh it's me Janae, in case you're wondering who B6th is!
I can actually smell Tony through my computer. Hey guys, are your legs getting "numb and itchy"? A little inside joke I guess. I have been logging the miles on the eliptical which is not as rewarding. Ship those kids down here and we will watch them the week of the race.
No wonder I never run! Yikes, if that is how you feel, not for me. I am happy that you guys can do it together and both love running. It is great. Let us know when the race is so we can pick you up off the ground when you finish! Just kidding. Mom
Okay, you're amazing. Matt and I are trying to figure out if we want to make the decision to do a half. We can do 2 miles easy as pie, did 5 miles once, but other then that, 13 miles seems far far away. I wish it would get nice outside so we could enjoy training!
Good for you guys! I knew back in the day when you guys were dating and running together for fun that the running would never fade. I think it is great you guys have that healthy habit you do together!! Good luck!!
Don't worry tony I have the same look after I do something strenuous.
Matt
